En la enfermedad espiritual se llegan a perder todos los valores, esto se debe a que la mente es atacada de múltiples maneras, estableciéndose irremediables dudas. Paulatinamente se va perdiendo el orden, la disciplina y el sentido común, la limpieza, el esfuerzo, el estudio, todo va disminuyendo hasta el punto que el individuo se encuentra sin carácter presa y a merced de la oscuridad.
