You may have such abundance that you
may think that you don't need anything. And that same day, you might not
realize, the next day, you may deny it and the other day, full of
arrogance, and spite, you will shout full voice:
"Who wants that nonsense? Y have the force of the wind, the strength of the mountain, the bravura of fire, the mystery of the stars, the vitality of the sun. What do I need if I have all this and much more?" You may have all that in abundance, but the day that your madness ends, you will awaken and will be like a withered flower, with not even a petal left. Your soul will be naked showing the bones. Then, you will not have voice left to declare your fortune and it might not have any value. Because there are some things in life that are priceless and cannot be bought. Things that are necessary and fundamental and that by work and grace of the Creator make us what we are: Human beings. What do we need? that when we lose this, we miss it as the same life? Affection. |
