"I can give a mountain of gold to the one who dares to live with me for one day."
And when this was announced, this country had one hundred times more inhabitants because with that offer, many persons came from all parts of the world; it can almost be said that the world inclined because of the amount of persons who came. But the next day after the arrival, the world inclined again to the other side, because nobody stayed. " How is possible that somebody despises a mountain of gold?" said the character. Then, the offer was duplicated to two mountains of gold, but nobody answered on this occasion. He then, said: " Very well, I will give two mountains of gold, a castle, a lake and my youngest daughter who is very beautiful." One hundred strong and hardened men presented themselves. It seemed a day of competition, debate and fight. But the day had not finished and the one hundred did not get to know the daughter, nor the castle, the lake, nor the mountain, since nobody lasted. He then said: " There were no bold men here, but let's see if they are interested in this new offer. I will share my kingdom and will give half of everything I have." About twenty persons showed up, some on horses, some on elephants, some brought the dogs besides amulets and two witches. What else can I say? It may seem like repetition but none of the twenty stayed. And the character said: " I have taken a fancy and now I will give all my kingdom and will give not only my precious daughter but I will give my whole family to the one who can stay one day with me. I will give him everything that I have."

The news spread around the world but there was a lot of experience in this science and it was difficult to convince the people and only three arrived: a scientist, an artist and a poet; they all were very capable. But what happened? Nobody stayed. He already had offered all but nobody wanted to stay, or better said, nobody could stayed. Then, his youngest daughter approached him and said: "Papa, I know that you have offered everything and I also know your wish that somebody accompanies you even for a day, but I already have told you that nobody will ever want to stay with you, not even for an instant." And he answered:

" What is the matter, am I the death maybe?" And she said:" You are even worse."

"Am I disease?"

"You are worse"

"Am I madness?"

"You are worse."

"Am I hate?"

"You are worse."

And they made a long list of questions and answers and finally the daughter said: " Papa, I am your youngest daughter and if my first name is Horror, how is possible that anybody wants to stay one day with you? Nobody could stand it. Let's see papa, repeat your name." And he, with some vanity said: " Yes, daughter, you are right. My name is Fear."
