THE MORTAL WOUND

 I know that I am dreadful, not charming, I know that I could not offer anything, that nobody loves me. I also know that if they would embrace me, their heart would be confused, their look would fade and their soul would run away. But what can I do? I need of your presence, of your science, of your smile, of your happiness, of your passion.

I can't give you anything that could please you. What a terrible fate, is to dream about you, to want you and to give you only a mortal wound ! I am Sadness.
