"Ho
w good love is, how great and wonderful! He is always sweet and
tender, always gives me his best fruits and best attributes."
Love would always give me his best then, and more and more each new
time, he gave me of his happiness, surrender and dedication and thus
each new day, love gave me more and more. But one day, I arrived and
knocked his door and nobody opened, then I knocked again and nobody
opened ; since this was very strange
I forced the door, I broke it and
went in, and to my horror, I found love, dead in the
center of the room.
When I approached him, and saw him, I asked myself: " What did he die
from?" And I heard a voice saying, " "Love died out of love."
But I did not understand and went in search of the truth since I wanted
to know the cause of his death. I traveled through rivers and seas and
finally found a wise hermit, to whom I asked...
" I once had a love who
was a great love, he was wonderful, giving me everything in abundance
but one day, I knocked his door and he did not open, I broke the door
and saw that he was dead. And when I asked myself the cause of his
death, a voice said that he had died out of love. But I did not
understand. Please, explain me what is the meaning of that."
And the wise hermit answered: " It does not mean more than what it
means, which is that love died out of love, but of course, you will not
be able to understand, I will
explain, but you will be tormented with
the explanation. I think that you deserve to know the answer but you
also deserve to have the torment: That great and wonderful love, who
gave everything, died because he gave everything. Up to the point that
one day he didn't have anything left for him, not even a drop of life.
And if you want to know what's the reason that he died, then, he died
because you killed him, you killed him because that love gave everything
to you and you never gave him anything back.
Love is a tree who gives exquisite and wonderful fruits but if you don't
take care of him, he will die. That love died because you never gave him
anything while he gave everything because of you. Your question carries
now the sentence and your sentence carries a taste that is sweet and
bitter in itself; sweet because you now know that love claims love,
since love lives of love. And this is bitter because you never gave
anything to your love and your love died because you never gave love to
your love."
