The Madman was walking by a small forest, picking the fallen leaves while a group of youngsters passed by side, saying:

" Hey you madman, why do you pick the fallen leaves that are good for nothing, why not to pick the green ones that have life and color?"

And the Madman answered: " I would never pick the leaves of a tree or of a plant because it would be like getting blind, like removing an arm or leg. But I pick the fallen leaves because I walk behind the steps of Wisdom.
Those leaves have a story and although they are not green anymore, they carry in them so many wonderful experiences! Because in them, are the stories of the light, the sun, the light of the stars, the dew of the morning, the rain of the afternoon and the singing of the birds. On each fallen leave that I pick, there is poetry and a love story."

But the youngsters could not understand and said: " Those are leaves and nothing else."

But within his heart, the Madman, said: " Some day, you will understand."
